How To Progress From Here
So, what next?
The one sandbag program will take you far. It covers the basics and acts as a good introduction to this training style, but eventually you’ll probably want something a bit more advanced, something with more moving parts capable of taking you to that next level.
When you reach that point, you might choose to create your own program based on your own individual goals. Not a bad option. If that’s the route you choose to take, my YouTube channel The Stone Circle is there for you. It currently has well over fifty thousand subscribers, and the community is awesome. I upload videos there every week.
However, if you want to save yourself a lot of time, and trial and error, and get started making maximum gains straight away, I think you’ll like my Sandbag Hypertrophy program. Sandbag Hypertrophy is the culmination of many years spent figuring this stuff out, and since it was released a year ago, it’s helped thousands of people transform themselves. Getting to that place I like to call strong like a strongman, and yoked like a wrestler.
I have a video covering Sandbag Hypertrophy over on YouTube. It’s free, you should definitely watch it.
I also wrote a book on the program. It was a number one best seller in all of the most competitive fitness categories on Amazon, in multiple countries. It’s been read by thousands already, and has a very high rating. You can get it on Amazon for less than the cost of your favorite fast food combo meal. Sandbag Hypertrophy Book
If you want to go it alone, those will be enough to get you started.
If you’re looking for something more though, and I know there’s a good chance you might be, as I’m asked about this on a daily basis, I’ve created something pretty cool, and it’s unlike anything else out there. Sandbag Hypertrophy: The Complete Training System.
It’s a full 10 week follow along video guide to the program, and it covers literally everything. This is the most detailed thing I’ve ever made, it’s a lifetime of learning condensed into one, complete, easy to understand set of instructions.
I go into tremendous detail on each of the sandbag exercises in the program. We’re talking every little thing, from form cues, to tricks I’ve learned over the years, giving you the tools needed to make rapid progress. This includes a live, in-person coaching session I recorded with a fellow sandbag lifter.
I cover warmups, and how to progress to heavier sandbags when it’s time.
I get into calisthenics, specifically high intensity calisthenics circuits, the perfect pairing to go along with heavy sandbag lifting.
I talk mindset and what it means to be a sandbag athlete.
There are in depth videos for each of the different training days, as well as weekly check in videos to keep you motivated, and to keep your mind in the right place. Each week comes with its own unique set of challenges to overcome, and it’s easy to get discouraged when those challenges show up if you aren’t ready for them. Week 2 of the program will feel very different from week 7. The weekly videos are there to keep you on track.
The complete system really does cover everything.
